Dimensional stability is particularly important with raised computer floors allowing vent holes and cable openings to be cleanly punched without breaking or delaminating the vinyl. In addition this "extreme" dimensional stability allows UltraStat 2000 to water jet cut these tiles with company logos, special warnings and other information, inserting any color (but same ESD conductive vinyl tile material) INTO the water-jetted tiles.
VPI Tiles are available in pre-grooved and can be heat welded to provide an impervious, seamless, hygienic extremely "clean" one piece floor. Seam welding eliminates the dirt traps that even minute spaces provide. Torn or damaged sections can be repaired to a good as new" condition. Plus, a welded floor exhibits unparalleled structural integrity, perfect for heavy duty forklift traffic. With welded seems adhesive "seepage" becomes a thing of the past allowing less curing times prior to using the floors. From a designer standpoint the weld can be a different color than the tiles. For example HP in many cases prefers a white tile with a blue heat weld bead, providing an extremely striking appearance.
