Use of the Static Solutions ESD wrist strap and ESD bench mat monitors continuously verifies the effectiveness of your ESD protected workstation, simultaneously satisfies ISO logging requirements and insures outstanding product quality.
The Static Solutions CM-1701 is designed to test a person, their wrist strap AND a workstation ESD mat’s attachment to a reliable ground source on a continual ongoing basis. The unit is designed to work with all standard wrist straps (expensive dual phono jack wrist straps are NOT required). The unit is designed to work with all 3 layer ESD table top mats including our 167-AS and 168-AS Premium ESD bench mats and any 2 layer mat containing a conductive bottom surface (like our ElectraTherm 165-AS). Should the Technician or the mat’s connection to ground fail, the CM-1701 provides an immediate visual and audible alarm. The unit may be adjusted for impedance and contains an on/off switch. Each unit is provided with a NIST calibration certificate.
